SMS/Text Message Data

• Incoming text messages sent to your organization's GroupSVP number
• Outgoing messages sent on behalf of your organization
• Message delivery status and timestamps

• Enable AI-powered response interpretation
• Provide message history to organization administrators

SMS Data Protection

• Phone numbers are stored securely and encrypted
• Message content is used only for RSVP processing and service delivery
• We do not share phone numbers or message content with advertisers
• Members can opt out of messages by texting STOP at any time

Carrier Fees: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. GroupSVP is not responsible for these charges.

Third-Party Services

We partner with trusted third-party services to operate GroupSVP:

Note on AI Processing: When our AI assistant processes RSVP responses, message content may be sent to OpenAI's API. This data is used solely to interpret responses and is not used to train AI models.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary:

• Active Accounts: We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
• Event Data: Event and RSVP records are retained for 2 years after the event date, unless you request earlier deletion
• SMS Messages: Message logs are retained for 1 year for service quality and dispute resolution
• Payment Records: Billing information is retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes)
• Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law

For organizations with minor members (ages 13-17), we recommend that parents or guardians provide consent before their child's information is added to the platform.

GroupSVP is based in Florida, USA. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

By using GroupSVP, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
