- Incoming text messages sent to your organization's GroupSVP number

SMS Data Protection
- Phone numbers are stored securely and encrypted

- We do not share phone numbers or message content with advertisers
- Members can opt out of messages by texting STOP at any time
Carrier Fees: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. GroupSVP is not responsible for these charges.
Third-Party Services
We partner with trusted third-party services to operate GroupSVP:
Note on AI Processing: When our AI assistant processes RSVP responses, message content may be sent to OpenAI's API. This data is used solely to interpret responses and is not used to train AI models.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary:
- Active Accounts: We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
- Event Data: Event and RSVP records are retained for 2 years after the event date, unless you request earlier deletion
- SMS Messages: Message logs are retained for 1 year for service quality and dispute resolution
- Payment Records: Billing information is retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes)
- Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law
